Nigel Garry from the charity with staff from The William Hill organisation took part in a sponsored blindfold walk from LLandudno Pier to Colwyn Bay pier, organised by Angela Lally Business Performance Manager.
Since the beginning of lockdown in March 2020 North Wales Accessible Holidays for Blind and Visually Impaired unfortunately was unable to fundraise within communities due to the Coronavirus pandemic, round about 90% of our very small charities income is generated through Supermarket store collections.
Nigel Garry Chairman having received a telephone call from Paul and Naomi Hinchliffe, the parents of Isaac, Martha and Joel was overwhelmed to learn from them that Isaac (11) and his friend Josh (9) was about to undertake a 100 mile run/walk which did commence Monday 25th May to Sunday 31st May 2020 they completed this outstanding achievement and when all monies were collected they raised the colossal sum of £2,880. Also Martha Hinchliffe (8) had a stall at the bottom of their drive with toys etc and raised the wonderful sum of £75.
Chairman Nigel and all the Trustees wish to convey their sincere gratitude to the Hinchliffe family and Josh’s family for all their very kind and generous support.
